Qualifications and Experience

India has recently completed her third year of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle. She has gained valuable experience through a range of clinical placements in both local and rural areas, spanning diverse settings such as community aged care, acute care, and paediatrics — including an eight-week placement with Inspire Ability!

India has worked as an Allied Health Assistant in an occupational rehabilitation setting, where she supported individuals in their return-to-work journeys following injury. In this role, she collaborated closely with a large multidisciplinary team and regularly liaised with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Professional Interests

India is passionate about helping children reach their full potential at home and at school. She enjoys designing engaging, play-based sessions that boost participation, confidence, and essential life skills. India places great value on building strong therapeutic relationships and celebrating each child’s achievements. With a keen interest in paediatrics, she looks forward to continuing her learning journey at Inspire Ability, supporting children in reaching their goals while gaining invaluable experience from the talented allied health team as she completes her studies.

Creative Skills

India loves bringing creativity and movement into her sessions, making learning both fun and motivating. She delights in finding playful ways to engage clients, whether through craft, cooking, or themed activities. Outside of work, India stays active, explores the outdoors, experiments with new and delicious recipes, and cherishes quality time with family and friends.
