Qualifications and Experience
After completing a Certificate II in Business Administration through a traineeship with The Newcastle Herald, Catherine moved to London, where she lived and worked for five years. During this time, she gained extensive experience across reception, secretarial, and personal assistant roles while temping throughout the city. It was in London that Catherine secured her first Office Manager position, overseeing the operations of two busy Public Relations firms and leading a team of reception staff.

Upon returning to Newcastle, Catherine transitioned from the fast-paced media industry into the health sector, where she has held Office Management and leadership roles since 2010. She has completed a Certificate IV in Business, along with a range of professional development courses, including:

  • Privacy

  • Time and Priority Management

  • Business Writing

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Work Health and Safety

  • First Aid

  • Health, Safety and Environment
