Qualifications and Experience
Zoe graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism and Honours. She is currently completing a PhD on social media influencers and their creative practice. Zoe has worked in public relations and marketing in the disability sector for two years and has worked with people with disabilities since 2014 in her mother's florist. In 2020, she founded and run an art exhibition for people with disabilities at the Newcastle City library and hopes to continue this event in the future.
Zoe has a passion for showcasing the unique and amazing abilities of people who have a disability. She believes that through these conversations and increased awareness, we can change the stigmas about what neurodivergent people can achieve and create new opportunities for them to thrive and contribute to society.
Zoe is a talented and passionate photographer and videographer who loves interviewing people with disabilities and sharing their stories. She also specialises in graphic design and uses these skills to manage the Inspire Ability social media pages.
